HAMMERED DULCIMER MUSIC
Kris Chase
Kris Chase
I’ve been playing hammered dulcimer since around 1998. Back then, I started a dulcimer jam session with Portland dulcimer players. John Keys used to come to the jam session and wanted to form a band. We called ourselves Beltaine. I played with Beltaine for about 13 years and helped record 3 of Beltaine’s CDs. Since 2013, I’ve been with a band called Five-Euro Tip. Five-Euro Tip plays international folk music for family dances and a variety of music for retirement centers and farmer’s markets. I also play with the Portland Waltz Band at the annual Peninsula Park waltz in August. Other instruments that I play are the marimbula and guitar.

I am currently looking for opportunities to play music indoors as a busker or just as background music for an event. If you have a business close to Clackamas, Oregon and would like some music, please contact me,
